At The Hobbyt, empowering women is at the heart of our mission.
We've had the privilege of training underprivileged women to create handmade toys, providing them with a sustainable source of income and a sense of creative fulfillment.
The impact extends far beyond the individual women, as their families and communities reap the benefits. Many families have expressed pride and gratitude for the additional income and the women's newfound confidence.
However, we've also encountered instances where families have struggled to adapt to the women's growing independence. Despite this, our artisans have continued to thrive, with some having been part of our program for over 10 years.As we continue to support and celebrate these women, we're reminded that true empowerment is not just about financial stability, but also about unlocking the potential and creativity within each individual.
